What Sets Us Apart

Our award-winning curriculum was formed through in-depth research into early childhood learning and development. A blend of play-based (Frog Street) and child-led (Emergent) curriculums, all activities are hands-on, child-guided and exceed provincial early learning frameworks.

Our dedicated and passionate early childhood educators deliver an innovative, engaging and proven curriculum that ignites a love of learning and inspires and encourages individuality in every Peekaboo child. Their nurturing and attentive approach offers each child a home-away-from-home experience.

Two-way communication is important. Monthly newsletters, curriculum nights, parent interviews, open houses and our proprietary app (BrightPath Connect™) are designed to increase the interaction between our centres and families.

Children need nutrition to grow in both mind and body. Believing that food choices throughout childhood fuel life long eating habits, our menu is crafted by a Registered Nutritionist and prepared in-house daily and reflects those beliefs.

Meet The Centre Director

Sarah graduated with a Diploma in Early Childhood Education from Conestoga College in 1996. Sarah joined the Peekaboo team in 1999. After some time as one of the Co-Centre Directors at Queen Street Centre, she is now Centre Director at Peekaboo Avondale.

Sarah’s favourite part of being a Centre Director is receiving genuine hugs from the children and hearing success stories from the families. She strongly believes in using the latest best practices to help the children build the skills they need to succeed in their learning. She loves to be part of every child’s day and enjoys watching them grow and learn.

Sarah, wife and mother of three, values her family above all else. She spends most of her time with her family and friends. Sarah is an avid indoor volleyball player and enjoys watching her daughter play volleyball.
