Tucked behind the Scotiabank in a quiet corner of Ranchlands Village Plaza on the corner of Nose Hill Drive and Ranchlands Boulevard, BrightPath Ranchlands is easily accessed off Crowchild Trail and right across from Crowfoot Crossing.

Sporting a bright red awning at its entrance, BrightPath Ranchlands feels like a character-home – a little older but warm and comfortable just the same. It offers 72 licensed and accredited spaces to children aged 6 weeks to 5 years. The centre has been established in the community for a very long time with some staff having been part of the centre’s fabric for more than twenty years! Infant

Infant (6 Weeks - 18 Months)

Our infant program provides a warm, nurturing environment where caregivers form close bonds with babies, ensuring a secure and trusting relationship. Each infant follows their own schedule, with individualized care routines for feeding, sleeping, and play. Our educators support early development through sensory exploration, attachment-based play, and language-rich interactions, including the introduction of basic American Sign Language (ASL).

Toddler

Toddler (18 Months - 3 years)

Toddlers are naturally curious, energetic, and eager to explore. Our toddler program fosters independence while encouraging language development and social-emotional growth. Through hands-on activities, play-based learning, and structured routines, toddlers gain foundational skills for future learning.

Key Focus Areas:

  • Supporting independence (self-feeding, dressing, potty training)
  • Expanding language and communication through ASL and verbal expression
  • Encouraging social-emotional growth through cooperative play
  • Sensory experiences, music, and movement to enhance cognitive development
Pre-Schooler

Preschool (3-5 years)

Preschoolers are eager learners, exploring their world with curiosity and excitement. Our preschool program builds upon their natural interests, incorporating early literacy, math, science, and creative expression into their daily routines. Play-based learning helps children develop problem-solving skills, creativity, and social connections.

Our music program offers a researched, systematic approach to nurturing children's social skills and musical development, including singing in tune and rhythmic coordination.

Conveniently nestled amidst ample parking, our center ensures stress-free drop-offs and pickups for our valued families.

We support children’s healthy growth by providing nutritious, scratch-made meals developed with guidance from a Registered Dietitian. Our menu uses fresh, often local ingredients, rotates every four weeks, and changes seasonally for variety. Centres are nut-free, and the team works closely with families to accommodate allergies, sensitivities, and cultural or medical dietary needs.

Our Educators are passionate about delivering early years education that empowers and inspires children to create their futures.

Our Yoga program enriches our preschool curriculum, fostering young minds and bodies for lifelong mental and physical well-being through fun, themed sessions.

Our dance programs blend solid technique with fun and creative choreography, fostering both technical skill and expressive, individualistic style in our little ones.

Centre Director

Rima Mukherjee has worked in child care for over thirteen years and has been with BrightPath for almost five years. She began her career in Early Childhood Education as a licensed daycare owner. In addition to her Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Food & Nutrition from Calcutta University, she also holds an undergraduate degree in Child Studies with Early Learning and Child Care as a major from Mount Royal University in Calgary, Canada.
