Tour A Centre With Mommy Connections: Infant Care At BrightPath Kids

When it is time to go back to work after your maternity leave, it is natural to feel that there simply is no place that you would want to leave your child. Trusting someone to take care of your most precious is basically impossible. BrightPath Kids and our long-term partner Mommy Connections came together to take you on a tour of the baby and infant rooms at one of the BrightPath centres to shed light on what to expect and to alleviate your fears.

Experience the baby room which offers care to infants from 6 months to 12 months at a 1:3 ratio of children to early childhood educators as well as the infant room which provides a home-away-from-home to infants aged 12 to 18 months. Both rooms offer our blend of Frog Street and Emergent curriculums which even at such an early age support the development of language, physical, cognitive and social-emotional skills and form the foundations for future learning.

If the transition to child care proves to be just as hard for you as for your child, we welcome you to make use of our transition period. During this time, which can be as early as two to three weeks before the actual start date, you and your child can join the classroom and get comfortable, creating a sense of security and building a relationship with the educators which make for a smoother adjustment once your child stays with us fulltime.
