BrightPath Wolfedale Childcare Centre
Overview
BrightPath Wolfedale is located down the road from Dundas Street West and minutes from Highway 403 and Hurontario Street. The centre is walking distance to various bus stops and with a large parking lot, drop off and pick up are made easy for commuting parents. To ensure security, there are keypad locks on both entrance doors and staff will ID everyone who is not known to them at pick up time to ensure the safety of children and staff.
The centre has a licensed capacity of 137 children ages 6 weeks to 6 years old and are recognized by Raising the Bar, a quality initiative designed to enhance quality child care and early years programs in the Peel region. The centre features three very large outdoor play spaces; the toddler and preschool areas have play structures and shaded areas, the infant space has synthetic turf for the children to easily crawl and walk around. With an indoor gym available for when the weather is either too cold or wet to be safely outside, there is always a way for the children to be active.

Centre Director
Qiandre graduated from Sheridan College in June 2011 with her Early Childhood Educator (ECE) diploma. She started at BrightPath while doing her placement and began working fulltime after graduation. After working for 3.5 years with the kindergarten age group, Qiandre became the Assistant Director and is currently the Director of our Wolfedale centre.
Qiandre’s favourite part about being a BrightPath Director is meeting new families and supporting them in the transitions their children go through while watching the children learn, grow and be successful. Seeing a child accomplish a new task or milestone for the first time is one of Qiandre’s favourite parts of her day. She enjoys supporting the educators in their day-to-day roles while creating a great team environment.
Being Canadian born, her background is of German and Jamaican descent. Qiandre is a Mom to four children. In her spare time, she enjoys the outdoors with her children, doing arts and crafts, shopping and spending time with family.
