BrightPath Meadowvale Childcare Centre
Overview
BrightPath Meadowvale is in an ideal location for commuting families as the centre is only minutes away from Highway 401 and 403 plus it is close to the Meadowvale GO station. The centre is tucked away in a cove on Torquay Mews, off Turner Valley Road and right next to the Meadowvale Four Rinks Arena.
Previously known as Peekaboo Torquay Mews, the centre is licensed to provide care to 122 children aged 6 weeks to 5 years old and holds accreditation with Raising the Bar, which is a commitment to best practices in early learning and child care by the Early Childhood Education community in Peel.
Meadowvale’ passionate early childhood educators make the centre a fun and inclusive environment for all attending children. Throughout the year, they hold centre-wide activities such as playdates, fancy tea parties, bake sales and various other events to really bring all of the children, parents/guardians and staff together like an extended family.
The centre is outfitted with two large outdoor play areas that are separated by each age group with developmentally appropriate play structures, so the children have the opportunity to enhance their gross motor skills while being outdoors.

Centre Director
Karen graduated with a Diploma in Early Childhood Education from George Brown College. For the past two decades, she has been working in child care and she is now the Director of the BrightPath Meadowvale Centre.
Karen’s favourite part about being a BrightPath Director is that she gets the chance to connect and form bonds with children and their families. She enjoys watching the children mature from infants to preschoolers. Seeing the children explore and the wonder in their faces from engaging in new moments, makes it all worthwhile.
Karen immigrated to Canada from Scotland in 1979 with her parents and brother. In her spare time, she enjoys cooking, listening to 80’s music and playing and watching sports with family and friends. Karen also loves animals and would love to foster dogs someday.
