BrightPath Meadowvale is in an ideal location for commuting families as the centre is only minutes away from Highway 401 and 403 plus it is close to the Meadowvale GO station. The centre is tucked away in a cove on Torquay Mews, off Turner Valley Road and right next to the Meadowvale Four Rinks Arena.
Previously known as Peekaboo Torquay Mews, the centre is licensed to provide care to 122 children aged 6 weeks to 5 years old and holds accreditation with Raising the Bar, which is a commitment to best practices in early learning and child care by the Early Childhood Education community in Peel.
Meadowvale’ passionate early childhood educators make the centre a fun and inclusive environment for all attending children. Throughout the year, they hold centre-wide activities such as playdates, fancy tea parties, bake sales and various other events to really bring all of the children, parents/guardians and staff together like an extended family.
The centre is outfitted with two large outdoor play areas that are separated by each age group with developmentally appropriate play structures, so the children have the opportunity to enhance their gross motor skills while being outdoors.

Karen graduated with a Diploma in Early Childhood Education from George Brown College. For the past two decades, she has been working in child care and she is now the Director of the BrightPath Meadowvale Centre.
Karen’s favourite part about being a BrightPath Director is that she gets the chance to connect and form bonds with children and their families. She enjoys watching the children mature from infants to preschoolers.
Karen immigrated to Canada from Scotland in 1979 with her parents and brother. In her spare time, she enjoys cooking, listening to 80’s music and playing and watching sports with family and friends. Karen also loves animals and has a chocolate lab named Charley.
What our families think about BrightPath Meadowvale
"Our son has thrived at BrightPath Meadowvale. He started under a year ago as a shy, introverted little boy - the center has brought out his confidence and personality, and the change in him has been remarkable. He loves his teachers and it is obvious that the admiration goes both ways. The care providers take a genuine interest in his development, and we are given daily reports and pictures of his day. He hugs his teachers when he leaves and speaks about them and his friends every night at home. The center is bright and clean, has a fantastic playground and serves wonderful meals and snacks. He explores his creativity on a daily basis and is constantly learning. He sings and dances and asks us to sing the same songs to us at home. We are so pleased that we chose this center! We highly recommend it."
"The wonderful staff and facility at BrightPath Meadowvale make it easy to leave my two children in their care. Communication is fantastic with reports on meals/naps/toileting sent out each day, and there are always pictures to show us what the kids are up to each week. My one child benefits tremendously from the PIRS resource consultant that works with BrightPath Meadowvale, and has experienced at inclusive learning environment that has allowed her to flourish and grow. I highly recommend this centre to any family looking for child care."
