What Sets Us Apart

Our award-winning curriculum was formed through in-depth research into early childhood learning and development. A blend of play-based (Frog Street) and child-led (Emergent) curriculums, all activities are hands-on, child-guided and exceed provincial early learning frameworks.

Our dedicated and passionate early childhood educators deliver an innovative, engaging and proven curriculum that ignites a love of learning and inspires and encourages individuality in every BrightPath child. Their nurturing and attentive approach offers each child a home-away-from-home experience.

Two-way communication is important. Monthly newsletters, curriculum nights, parent interviews, open houses and our proprietary app (BrightPath Connect™) are designed to increase the interaction between our centres and families.

Children need nutrition to grow in both mind and body. Believing that food choices throughout childhood fuel life long eating habits, our menu is crafted by a Registered Nutritionist and prepared in-house daily and reflects those beliefs.

About The Centre

BrightPath Chestermere is located by Chestermere Station across from the Safeway. Offering 286 fully licensed and accredited spaces for child care for 6-week to 5-year olds and before and after school care for 6 to 12-year olds, the centre is one of the largest in the BrightPath family. With more than 20,000 square feet of space over three floors, the centre offers many amenities to the children attending. The spacious kitchen is manned by a chef who daily prepares all meals and snacks fresh onsite. With a ground floor entrance and an elevator, access for strollers and wheelchairs is effortless. To ensure the safety of the children, the centre is secured through key card access, with current families receiving their own and all other visitors vetted by reception. Finally, multiple large outdoor play yards as well as an indoor gym provide plenty of space for physical activity no matter the weather as well as an area to hold recreational classes such as Ballet.

Adjacent to John Peake Memorial Park and Chestermere Lake, the centre’s children are often taken on outings to explore the natural environments surrounding the centre. Preschool-aged children also visit the local library every other week to participate in Storytime and develop a love of learning and lay the groundwork for improved reading skills.
