Busy Bees North America Announces 2024 Employees of the Year

Leading child care provider recognizes outstanding educators, leaders, and staff.

Toronto, ON– March 3, 2025 – Busy Bees North America (BBNA), one of the leading child care providers on the continent, is proud to recognize four employees as the recipients of this year’s Employee of the Year awards. This prestigious recognition is awarded to employees who demonstrate exceptional dedication, leadership, and a commitment to excellence in their work that truly embodies BBNA’s values including Care, Service, Quality and Value.

"Busy Bees has a truly exceptional team across the board," said Nina Freier, Chief Human Resources Officer, North America. "All employees nominated this year embody our company’s values and consistently strive to make a positive difference in everything they do. Their hard work and dedication set a high standard for excellence within our team."

Now in its 9th year, the annual awards program starts with a nomination from a peer or colleague. In 2024, more than 150 employees were nominated and only four are recognized with eight distinguished runners-up winners. The winners of this highly regarded recognition receive a custom crystal award, a $1,000 cash prize, plus a $1,000 donation to a charity of their choice. Runner-Ups receive a $200 prize, and the nominee of each winner receives $100!

All winners were recently honored at their school location where they were presented with the Employee of the Year award. Their contributions serve as an inspiration to their colleagues and reinforce the company’s commitment to recognizing excellence within the workplace.
