The U.S. State Representative visit to the Wallingford location spotlights the importance of early childhood education.
Wallingford, Conn. – November 05, 2024 – BrightPath Early Learning Center and Child Care, a premier provider of early years education and care with twenty-two locations in the state of Connecticut, opened its doors on Tuesday, October 29, 2024, to Representative Rosa DeLauro, D-CT-3. Congresswoman DeLauro had the opportunity to tour the school facility, meet with educators, and engage with children.
Congresswoman DeLauro serves as Ranking Member of the House Appropriations Committee, which directs federal spending and sets funding levels for programs like the Child Care and Development Block Grant (CCDBG). Congresswoman DeLauro has been a staunch advocate for investing in early education and ensuring each child has access to a safe, healthy environment to learn and grow, and she has supported a range of legislation increasing investments to programs like CCDBG and HeadStart.
