What Sets Us Apart

Our award-winning curriculum was formed through in-depth research into early childhood learning and development. A blend of play-based (Frog Street) and child-led (Emergent) curriculums, all activities are hands-on, child-guided and exceed provincial early learning frameworks.

Our dedicated and passionate early childhood educators deliver an innovative, engaging and proven curriculum that ignites a love of learning and inspires and encourages individuality in every BrightPath child. Their nurturing and attentive approach offers each child a home-away-from-home experience.

Two-way communication is important. Monthly newsletters, curriculum nights, parent interviews, open houses and our proprietary app (BrightPath Connect™) are designed to increase the interaction between our centres and families.

Children need nutrition to grow in both mind and body. Believing that food choices throughout childhood fuel life long eating habits, our menu is crafted by a Registered Nutritionist and prepared in-house daily and reflects those beliefs.

About The Centre

BrightPath Rutherford is situated on the corner of Westburne Drive and Rutherford Road beside the 7-Eleven, just down the road from the Keele Street and Rutherford Road intersection. Located across the street from the Rutherford GO station and minutes from Highway 407, this centre is a favourite among commuting parents and the large parking lot uncomplicates drop off and pick up.

With large windows, the centre has a warm and inviting atmosphere and long-term staff are like family to the children in attendance, watching them learn and grow through each milestone. BrightPath Rutherford offers 160 licensed spaces for children aged 6 weeks to 5 years.  The centre’s outdoor space features three large playgrounds, each targeted at developmentally appropriate stages for each age group; one with a climber, one with a bike path and one with toddler-themed toys like water and sand tables. When the children cannot play outside due to inclement weather, they have an indoor rec room to expand their imaginations and work off excess energy.

Ghazaleh has been in the child care field since 2007. She graduated with her Early Childhood Education from Seneca College. Ghazaleh has experience with children of all ages. She joined the BrightPath family in September 2018 and is now the Centre Director of BrightPath Rutherford.

Ghazaleh’s favourite part about being a Centre Director is working with children, as there is nothing more rewarding to her than seeing the look on their little faces when they learn something new. She loves having the privilege to work closely with the children and their families. Ghazaleh enjoys establishing better relationships with the staff and children, it’s what makes the centre run successfully.
