Overview

BrightPath Rutherford is situated on the corner of Westburne Drive and Rutherford Road beside the 7-Eleven, just down the road from the Keele Street and Rutherford Road intersection. Located across the street from the Rutherford GO station and minutes from Highway 407, this centre is a favourite among commuting parents and the large parking lot uncomplicates drop off and pick up.

With large windows, the centre has a warm and inviting atmosphere and long-term staff are like family to the children in attendance, watching them learn and grow through each milestone. BrightPath Rutherford offers 160 licensed spaces for children aged 6 weeks to 5 years.  The centre’s outdoor space features three large playgrounds, each targeted at developmentally appropriate stages for each age group; one with a climber, one with a bike path and one with toddler-themed toys like water and sand tables. When the children cannot play outside due to inclement weather, they have an indoor rec room to expand their imaginations and work off excess energy.

Centre Director

Rajneet has been working in child care since 2014 and has almost 7 years of experience in the field. She completed her Early Childhood Education diploma at Mohawk College and has an undergraduate degree in Biotechnology from India. In addition to these, Rajneet also has two other diplomas: one in Food Science and another in Mass Communication and Video Production.

Rajneet's favourite part about being Centre Director is working with the children and watching their development as they grow through each stage, truly appreciating the unique qualities of each child. She loves how rewarding it is to receive hugs and smiles from the children every day and positive feedback from the parents.

Rajneet is born and raised in Punjab, India. She belongs to Sikh culture and is a very spiritual and peace-loving person. She loves to spend time with her family and her fur friend Woofy. When she can, Rajneet loves to travel to different parts of the world and learn about their culture and languages.

Rajneet speaks English, Hindi, Punjabi, Gujrati, Farsi, and Urdu, and she is currently working on learning French.
