Thank you for your interest in Peekaboo Centres. We are now a proud member of BrightPath kids. Don’t worry, we brought our fantastic teams with us, same management and same staff to serve you and your family.

What Sets Us Apart

Our award-winning curriculum was formed through in-depth research into early childhood learning and development. A blend of play-based (Frog Street) and child-led (Emergent) curriculums, all activities are hands-on, child-guided and exceed provincial early learning frameworks.

Our dedicated and passionate early childhood educators deliver an innovative, engaging and proven curriculum that ignites a love of learning and inspires and encourages individuality in every BrightPath child. Their nurturing and attentive approach offers each child a home-away-from-home experience.

Two-way communication is important. Monthly newsletters, curriculum nights, parent interviews, open houses and our proprietary app (BrightPath Connect™) are designed to increase the interaction between our centres and families.

Children need nutrition to grow in both mind and body. Believing that food choices throughout childhood fuel life long eating habits, our menu is crafted by a Registered Nutritionist and prepared in-house daily and reflects those beliefs.

About The Centre

BrightPath Mill Street is located on the back of the Augsburg Lutheran Church on Mill Street. It is close to the downtown Brampton GO station and has easy access to Highway 410 as well as Highway 10 (aka Hurontario Street). The church and centre share a large parking lot with a large parking circle on the side of the building making drop off and pick up easy and convenient.

The centre offers 73 licensed spaces for children aged 6 weeks to 6 years old and holds accreditation with the Raising the Bar program, a quality initiative designed to enhance quality in child care and early years programs. The centre features two very large outdoor play areas with age-appropriate play structures dedicated to gross motor skills enhancement. As an added bonus, the centre has access to a lush forested area located behind the facility, with walking paths and the Etobicoke Creek running through it, where children are taken on outings to learn and explore in a natural setting.

Centre Director Jennifer Reed Jennifer Reed, Centre Director

Meet The Centre Director

Jennifer graduated with a Diploma in Early Childhood Education from Sheridan College in 1999 and started working with BrightPath immediately. After completing the Supervisor Administration Certificate in 2004, Jennifer has had the opportunity to be a entre Director at four different BrightPath locations. She is currently the Director at the Mill Street Centre.

Jennifer’s favourite part about being a BrightPath Director is connecting and interacting with the children and families and sharing in their BrightPath journey. She loves to watch the children practise and master skills and believes her role is to support the children as they develop.

Jennifer is the proud parent of two children who have both attended BrightPath Child Care Centres. She enjoys spending time at the cottage, exploring nature, bike riding and swimming. In her spare time, Jennifer likes to create crafting scrap books to preserve her family’s memories.
