What Sets Us Apart

Our award-winning curriculum was formed through in-depth research into early childhood learning and development. A blend of play-based (Frog Street) and child-led (Emergent) curriculums, all activities are hands-on, child-guided and exceed provincial early learning frameworks.

Our dedicated and passionate early childhood educators deliver an innovative, engaging and proven curriculum that ignites a love of learning and inspires and encourages individuality in every BrightPath child. Their nurturing and attentive approach offers each child a home-away-from-home experience.

Two-way communication is important. Monthly newsletters, curriculum nights, parent interviews, open houses and our proprietary app (BrightPath Connect™) are designed to increase the interaction between our centres and families.

Children need nutrition to grow in both mind and body. Believing that food choices throughout childhood fuel life long eating habits, our menu is crafted by a Registered Nutritionist and prepared in-house daily and reflects those beliefs.

About The Centre

BrightPath Maple Ridge is located in an older but well-loved building that has seen many varied uses over the years. Located on the corner of Dewdney Trunk Road and 216th Street and across from the Maple Ridge Power Substation, the centre is highly visible and easily accessible.

BrightPath Maple Ridge is warm and welcoming with a family-centred approach that makes everyone feel like they are part of an extended family. With 73 licensed spaces for child care of 6-week to 5-year olds as well as before and after school care for 6 to 12-year olds, the centre provides a home away from home and allows children to grow and mature from infant to school-age all in the same location.

With a large turfed outside play area, the children are able to spend time outdoors no matter the weather. The play spaces are divided by age group, allowing for age-appropriate play structures and learning materials to be provided. The space is actually large enough to accommodate all enrolled children to be in the play yards at the same time – effectively clearing out the centre and moving all learning to the outdoors!

BrightPath Maple Ridge is a sister location to BrightPath Maple Ridge Meadows located at 11918 207 Street in Maple Ridge.

Meet The Centre Director

Anshu has been working in the childcare field for 11 years and has been working with BrightPath since 2016. She also has experience working with programs of all ages, infant o our of school care.

Her favourite thing about being a BrightPath Director is being able to team up with her staff and the families at her centre to create a safe and secure environment for children to learn and grow in. Anshu also enjoys giving children opportunities through programming and play to develop their own interests and personalities.

Anshu was raised in Lautoka, Fiji and moved to Canada in 2005 and she is fluent in both Hindi and English. She currently lives in Maple Ridge with her husband and two children and when she is not working, taking her kids to playdates and park visits, Anshu really enjoys socializing and using Pinterest. She also enjoys cooking and trying different cultural foods.
