Montessori by BrightPath Strandherd Child Care Centre
Montessori by BrightPath Strandherd is located in the Cedarview Square Shopping Complex just off 4100 Strandherd Drive on the corner facing Tartan Drive. The centre is located just south of Clarke Fields Park.
The centre offers 50 licensed child care spaces for 18-month to 6-year-olds. Drop off and pick up are quick and easy with ample parking in a large parking lot. The centre entrances are locked throughout the day and equipped with door codes to provide a safe and secure environment for children, staff and families.
Strandherd is proud to be part of a family of award winning centres that have been providing exceptional care to families in the Barrhaven and Nepean areas since 2003. Our Montessori Curriculum has been recognized nationally for its innovative, unique STEM based learning.

Centre Programs
Infant (6 Weeks - 18 Months)
Our infant program provides a warm, nurturing environment where caregivers form close bonds with babies, ensuring a secure and trusting relationship. Each infant follows their own schedule, with individualized care routines for feeding, sleeping, and play. Our educators support early development through sensory exploration, attachment-based play, and language-rich interactions, including the introduction of basic American Sign Language (ASL).

Toddler (18 Months - 3 Years)
Toddlers are naturally curious, energetic, and eager to explore. Our toddler program fosters independence while encouraging language development and social-emotional growth. Through hands-on activities, play-based learning, and structured routines, toddlers gain foundational skills for future learning.

Preschool (3-4 Years)
