At Montessori by BrightPath Kanata, we are offering Yoga, French, S.T.E.M, Music/Movement and a Green Program.

The Montessori Philosophy is based on the work of Dr. Maria Montessori, who created a revolutionary pedagogy over 100 years ago. It quickly became the world’s largest education movement. The philosophy is based on the belief that a child’s early years (from birth to six) are the period where the greatest academic and social learning potential exists and it encourages children to be independent, self-confident learners through choosing their own work.

Infant (6 Weeks - 18 Months)

Our infant program provides a warm, nurturing environment where caregivers form close bonds with babies, ensuring a secure and trusting relationship. Each infant follows their own schedule, with individualized care routines for feeding, sleeping, and play. Our educators support early development through sensory exploration, attachment-based play, and language-rich interactions, including the introduction of basic American Sign Language (ASL).

Toddler (18 Months - 3 Years)

Through hands-on activities, play-based learning, and structured routines, toddlers gain foundational skills for future learning.

Centre Director

Lindsay is thrilled to be the Center Director at Montessori by Brightpath, Kanata. She has always been passionate about working with children, which led her to complete a diploma in Early Childhood Education and become a Registered Early Childhood Educator. With years of experience working alongside the BrightPath team since 2008 and leading various programs as a Centre Director, Lindsay decided to pursue a Montessori Diploma, and she takes pride in being a lifelong learner.
