Rosa Dynesen, B.A.

Principal

Rosa started educating children in the Montessori Method in 1994. She has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology and has AMI Training for the Montessori Method. Rosa joined the TCH team in 2012.

Rosa’s favourite part about being a TCH Principal is building relationships with parents, teachers and children. She truly appreciates the unique qualities of each child and the different stages of development – physically, emotionally and socially.

Rosa is of Italian heritage and grew up in Windsor where she attended the University of Windsor and Western. She can speak English, French and Italian. Upon graduation she took the Montessori training in Toronto and taught there for six years before moving to St. Maarten. While in St. Maarten she met her husband, who is from Denmark. Rosa and her husband are the proud parents of two beautiful girls and enjoy spending time together and with friends. In her spare time, Rosa enjoys travelling and walking the family dog with her family.

Laura graduated from Business-Marketing at St. Clair College and earned a Montessori certification through the Centre for Guided Montessori Studies. Her certification is fully MACTE accredited. Laura has many years of child care experience through running a home daycare for eight years and teaching in a Montessori environment since 2008. She joined the TCH family in 2015.

Laura is happy to work for BrightPath, where she strives to teach and inspire children to grow with a love of learning and passion for inquiry. She is thrilled to be a part of a school where children are encouraged to learn based on their own interests and at their individual academic readiness. She also enjoys helping to guide the education process of young children and working alongside parents as they journey through the ups and downs of parenthood.

When she is isn’t teaching, Laura enjoys travelling, exercising, walking her dog, concerts, outdoor activities and spending time with friends. In quiet moments when her husband and two teenage children don’t keep her busy, she enjoys knitting, crocheting and reading.

Corina was the Vice Principal for three years before proudly accepting the position of Principal of TCH LaSalle in 2017. She has made it her mission to create an atmosphere that provides a feeling of comfort and a feeling of home not only to the children and families but for the staff as well. She loves seeing all the children’s happy faces everyday and loves what she does.

Corina truly believes in the Montessori method and philosophy and takes pride in being able to share her passion with the children and their families. She loves being a part of an amazing administrative and management team and looks forward to many more memorable years ahead.

She has been part of the TCH family since 2010 and has worked her way up to her current position as Vice-Principal and is currently in the process of completing her Early Childhood Education diploma through online courses.

Jodi’s favourite part about being the Vice-Principal is having the opportunity to take part in developing the centre from an administrative perspective. This allows her to be a part of change for the better and ensure the children and staff have the best experience while at TCH LaSalle.

During her time at TCH, Jodi has worked mainly in the Casa programs. She has a passion for working with children and helping them develop skills in all areas of development in the classroom. She believes a strong foundation of support for the families and staff creates a strong support system for the children.

The TCH Windsor Team

Antoinette Drouillard, NAMC photo

Antoinette Drouillard, NAMC

Principal

Antoinette has been part of the TCH family since September 2004. She has a diploma for Infant and Toddler training from the North American Montessori Centre and was a Toddler Directress for a number of years before becoming the Program & Admissions Director. In September 2011, she took on the role of Principal of TCH Windsor.

Antoinette’s favourite part about being a TCH Principal is being able to help those around her become the best they can be. She believes that all children can learn but each learns in a different way and at different rates. Also, with hard work and perseverance we can touch each child in a special way. Keeping the atmosphere positive is the key to success as well as keeping the lines of communication open among staff, students and parents. Antoinette believes that teamwork is the ultimate way a school can be successful in reaching the goal of helping a child attain his or her full potential.

Antoinette is fluent in both English and Italian. She is Mom to two teenaged children who are very interested in sports. Most of the time Antoinette can be found either on the soccer or football field watching them play. In her spare time, she enjoys camping and spending time with close family and friends.

The Montessori approach develops independent thinking, motivation, persistence and discipline by allowing children to respond to their natural drive to work and learn.

Our dedicated and passionate early childhood educators deliver an innovative, engaging and proven curriculum that ignites a love of learning and inspires and encourages individuality in every TCH child. Their nurturing and attentive approach offers each child a home-away-from-home experience.

Two-way communication is important. Monthly newsletters, parent interviews, open houses and our proprietary app (BrightPath Connect™) are designed to increase the interaction between our centres and families.

Children need nutrition to grow in both mind and body. Believing that food choices throughout childhood fuel life long eating habits, our menu is crafted by a Registered Nutritionist, is prepared in-house daily and reflects those beliefs.
