Children need nutrition to grow in both mind and body. Believing that food choices throughout childhood fuel life long eating habits, our menu is crafted by a Registered Nutritionist and prepared in-house daily and reflects those beliefs.

About The Centre

Close to Bovaird Drive West (aka Highway 107) near McLaughlin Road, commuting to Peekaboo Van Kirk is easy for attending families. Located beside the Brampton Auto Mall, the centre’s large parking lot can be accessed via Canam Crescent or Van Kirk Drive.

Peekaboo Van Kirk offers 72 licensed spaces for child care of 18-month to 5-year olds and out of school care for 6 to 12-year olds. It is accredited through Raising the Bar, a quality program that pledges its members to follow best practices in early learning and child care and make strides toward continuous improvement.

The centre features a large outdoor green space with fenced off playgrounds that offer various developmentally appropriate climbers as well as an indoor gym for cold or rainy days. School-aged children are bussed to eight schools including Brisdale P.S., Burnt Elm P.S., Cheyne Middle School, Edenbrook Hill P.S., Homestead P.S., Rowntree P.S., St. Josephine Bakhita Catholic School and St. Rita Catholic School.

Meet The Centre Director

Lisa graduated from Sheridan College in 2004. She has worked with all age groups from infants to kindergarten. She has been with Peekaboo since January 2010.

Lisa’s favourite part about being a Centre Director Watching children grow, explore and learn through play. She believes that fostering an environment full of encouragement and support to allow the staff reach their fullest potential.

Lisa is a wife and mom to three amazing kids. She was born and raised in Brampton and in addition to speaking English, also speaks French. In her spare time, she enjoys camping, photography, scrapbooking, playing with her dog Raven and spending time with her family.
