What Sets Us Apart

Our award-winning curriculum was formed through in-depth research into early childhood learning and development. A blend of play-based (Frog Street) and child-led (Emergent) curriculums, all activities are hands-on, child-guided and exceed provincial early learning frameworks.

Our dedicated and passionate early childhood educators deliver an innovative, engaging and proven curriculum that ignites a love of learning and inspires and encourages individuality in every Peekaboo child. Their nurturing and attentive approach offers each child a home-away-from-home experience.

Two-way communication is important. Monthly newsletters, curriculum nights, parent interviews, open houses and our proprietary app (BrightPath Connect™) are designed to increase the interaction between our centres and families.

Children need nutrition to grow in both mind and body. Believing that food choices throughout childhood fuel life long eating habits, our menu is crafted by a Registered Nutritionist and prepared in-house daily and reflects those beliefs.

Kaitlyn Frank, Centre Director
Peekaboo Sheldon Drive

Meet The Centre Director

Kaitlyn started working in child care in 2012 after graduating with her Early Childhood Education Diploma from Fanshawe College in London, ON. Later that year, she moved to Cambridge and started working at Peekaboo Sheldon Drive in January 2013. She started working in the classroom with the preschoolers and absolutely loved it. From there she continued to move up until she became Centre Director.

Kaitlyn’s favourite part about being a Centre Director is working with an amazing centre team. She loves her wonderful staff and the amazing attributes they bring to the program and the influence this has on the children they teach. Every day, Kailyn enjoys saying good morning and good night to all the children and when they play hide and seek with their parents, listening to the little giggles is the best part of her day.

Kaitlyn was born in Owen Sound, ON but grew up in London, ON. From there she moved to Cambridge in 2012. She has always had a passion for caring for and teaching children. When it came time for post secondary school, Kaitlyn had two paths she wanted to choose from – child education or chef. In her spare time, Kaitlyn loves cooking and baking and makes custom cakes and cupcakes for family and friends.
