What Sets Us Apart

Our award-winning curriculum was formed through in-depth research into early childhood learning and development. A blend of play-based (Frog Street) and child-led (Emergent) curriculums, all activities are hands-on, child-guided and exceed provincial early learning frameworks.

Our dedicated and passionate early childhood educators deliver an innovative, engaging and proven curriculum that ignites a love of learning and inspires and encourages individuality in every Peekaboo child. Their nurturing and attentive approach offers each child a home-away-from-home experience.

Two-way communication is important. Monthly newsletters, curriculum nights, parent interviews, open houses and our proprietary app (BrightPath Connect™) are designed to increase the interaction between our centres and families.

Children need nutrition to grow in both mind and body. Believing that food choices throughout childhood fuel life long eating habits, our menu is crafted by a Registered Nutritionist and prepared in-house daily and reflects those beliefs.

About The Centre

Located in a light traffic area at the south end of Bolton, close to the intersection of Highway 50 and McEwan Drive, Peekaboo McEwan offers ample parking for parents. The centre is secured through key-coded locks on all doors, ensuring a safe environment for the children.

This 5,000 square foot centre provides a warm and friendly atmosphere for all children from 6 weeks to 4 years old and with a licensed capacity of only 79 children, it prides itself on a family-like setting. The centre features designated outdoor play areas with developmentally appropriate play structures to allow children to continue to learn and grow outside of the classroom.

Peekaboo McEwan holds accreditation with the Raising the Bar program in Peel, which measures licensed child care programs in three levels of Quality Assurance, Best Practices and Professional Development to ensure the highest levels of quality in child care.

Jessica LeBlanc, Centre Director
Peekaboo McEwan

Meet The Centre Director

Jessica graduated with a Diploma in Early Childhood Education from George Brown College in 2010. She began working at Peekaboo Child Care shortly after. She was Director at Professors Lake and now at our McEwan centre.

Jessica’s favourite part about being a Peekaboo Director is getting to know all the families and the children that come through the centre. She believes that all children are unique and deserve to be treated as competent, capable and curious individuals. As an educator, Jessica loves to foster these qualities and help them become strong, independent youth. She enjoys immersing herself in the programs and supporting the teachers.

With an Argentinian background, Jessica speaks both English and Spanish. She has two young daughters who push her to be the best version of herself. In her spare time, she enjoys playing soccer and spending quality time with her family and friends.
