What Sets Us Apart

Our award-winning curriculum was formed through in-depth research into early childhood learning and development. A blend of play-based (Frog Street) and child-led (Emergent) curriculums, all activities are hands-on, child-guided and exceed provincial early learning frameworks.

Our dedicated and passionate early childhood educators deliver an innovative, engaging and proven curriculum that ignites a love of learning and inspires and encourages individuality in every BrightPath child. Their nurturing and attentive approach offers each child a home-away-from-home experience.

Two-way communication is important. Monthly newsletters, curriculum nights, parent interviews, open houses and our proprietary app (BrightPath Connect™) are designed to increase the interaction between our centres and families.

Children need nutrition to grow in both mind and body. Believing that food choices throughout childhood fuel life long eating habits, our menu is crafted by a Registered Nutritionist and prepared in-house daily and reflects those beliefs.

About The Centre

Located in the southwest end of Vaughan between Pine Valley Drive and Weston Road and minutes from Highway 407 and Highway 7, BrightPath Trowers provides easy access for commuting parents. Their large parking lot makes drop off and pick up easy. The centre’s front door is secured by key code to ensure the safety of the children and staff in attendance.

This bright and tidy centre creates a welcoming atmosphere for all its children, families and staff. It offers 137 child care spots to children aged 6 weeks to 6 years old.

Formerly called Peekaboo Trowers, The centre features a large playground for preschoolers and a smaller one for toddlers. With ample shade on sunny days, each outdoor space has play structures designed specifically for their age group to help develop key gross motor skills and extend the learning environment from the indoor classrooms. For inclement weather, the centre offers an alternative space for physical activity in its indoor gym where the children can still learn and play.

Meet The Centre Director

Ashley has been in the child care field since 2001. She graduated with double honours from Trent University and has her Bachelors in English and Philosophy, she also received her Early Childhood Education from Seneca College. Ashley has been with BrightPath since 2013.

Ashley’s favourite part about being a Centre Director is the ability to help and support all of her staff at the centre. She enjoys helping them in their classrooms and implementing open-ended and engaging activities for the children. Ashley loves to interact with the families and is always there for those who need any extra support or have specific concerns.

Ashley was born and raised in Canada but is proud of her British background. She is a busy mom of two kids, Logan and Madilynn, and both have been BrightPath kids since they were infants. Ashley enjoys softball, golf, swimming and camping. When she can escape in her free time, Ashley loves to be outside soaking up the sun.
