Maple Ridge West

Maple Ridge, BC

What Sets Us Apart

Our award-winning curriculum was formed through in-depth research into early childhood learning and development. A blend of play-based (Frog Street) and child-led (Emergent) curriculums, all activities are hands-on, child-guided and exceed provincial early learning frameworks.

Our dedicated and passionate early childhood educators deliver an innovative, engaging and proven curriculum that ignites a love of learning and inspires and encourages individuality in every BrightPath child. Their nurturing and attentive approach offers each child a home-away-from-home experience.

Two-way communication is important. Monthly newsletters, curriculum nights, parent interviews, open houses and our proprietary app (BrightPath Connect™) are designed to increase the interaction between our centres and families.

Children need nutrition to grow in both mind and body. Believing that food choices throughout childhood fuel life long eating habits, our menu is crafted by a Registered Nutritionist and prepared in-house daily and reflects those beliefs.

Meet The Centre Director

Ashley started working in the field of educating children over ten years ago after graduating with her Early Childhood Education and Infant Toddler Education diplomas. Ashley has been with the BrightPath family since its inception in British Columbia.

Ashley’s favourite part about being a BrightPath Director is working with families and the unique opportunity to be a part of helping their child learn and develop. Ashley has the pleasure of working alongside some of the most knowledgeable staff and finds herself learning every day. It’s extremely fulfilling for Ashley knowing the positive impact we have on children every day, and that as a team we are helping shape the future generations.

Ashley has three wonderful children, two girls and a boy. Being very active they like to keep her on her toes! With her family, Ashley loves the outdoors, going for walks, visiting the park and finding things to do in the community. One of her favourite activities is swimming. A fun fact is that Ashley is half Yugoslavian so she actually celebrates two different Christmases and two different New Years on different days of the year.
